It is Wednesday and we started off the day with a meeting at a Dunkin’ Donuts located in the central station. Today’s focus is the post unification of Germany and its transportation. This included the recent reconstruction of traffic systems in Berlin such as the S Bahn and U Bahn. After the meeting of historical background, we traveled to a station called Alexanderplatz in Berlin-Mitte. Here we explored around and then eventually used bus to meet at Stone Brewing to end the day. Today I learned about the struggles of building up a country after a tradegy, of course this was mostly focused on the transportation aspect but transportation is such a vital part of every day life for many people so it does have a major effect on people using it in their daily lives.
