This Wednesday was our free day to go out of Munich to explore somewhere new. I chose to go to Nuremberg which was about two hours out of Munich by bus. The original plan was to visit the Black Forest, however there was not enough time to go there and come back to Munich by the following day. The forest in Nuremberg was relatively close and was still going to be a cool experience so I went for that, plus I was really craving a hike and being out in nature after being in the city areas for so long. The hike was very nice through the forests and the ride through the town was pretty interesting as well. I learned that German transportation even in smaller cities was still very efficient and relatively fast which is important to the people who work and live in the area as well as tourists. Near the end of the day, I got on a bus back to Munich and enjoyed the scenic views on the way back.
